With the introduction of ECUs on motorcycles, it has become impossible to vary the ignition timing without rechipping the ECU.
As bikes have proved 'unchippable' to most tuners, Superchips decided to take technology they developed a few years ago, to reprogramme 'unchippable' cars, and apply it to bikes.

Superchips' ICON RACE is a high performance engine management computer in its own right, which interfaces with the ECU already fitted to the bike, intercepting the ignition pulses and recalculating them based on a custom ignition map developed specifically for that bike on the rolling road.
